About
The non-profit 501(c)(3) Rhythms of Grace, located west of Des Moines, Iowa began with a dream of using horses to help people. It was founded with a vision of serving others, especially those who have special needs, be it physical or mental. Children and adults who may spend much of their life in clinics or medical facilities have an opportunity to connect with our amazing horses and receive valuable physical and mental benefits which is changing lives. They achieve success and well-deserved happiness in a warm and supportive environment. We serve children and their families and adults to help them achieve their goals and dreams and an unforced rhythm of grace.
In Matthew, chapter 11 paraphrased, Jesus speaks of “the unforced rhythms of grace”, referring to an ease and enjoyment when we walk in His grace, as contrasted to the daily struggles of life that are common to us all. Whether we have a physical or mental need or are searching for a place of calm and peace and purpose, horses are an amazing and enjoyable partner in the journey to reflection, clarity and rest. We look forward to blessing you on life’s journey. Everyone is welcome.
